Possums ( 1-2 yrs )

The Possum room caters for a maximum of ten children each day and has 3 educators.

We want the children in our care to feel safe, secure and supported in their environment.  To be confident enough to explore their surroundings, to interact with their educators and peers and to make decisions, both independently and with the group.

We have permanent learning areas including a home corner and book corner, blocks/construction, art/craft and our resources and activities change constantly to reflect the children’s interests.

Over the course of the year, the children become confident learners, exploring the world around them and expressing their ideas.  We aim to foster their curiosity and encourage cooperation.
